While Neptune Festival 2022 hosts 40 unique events throughout the year in Virginia, the Boardwalk Weekend from September 30 – October 2 is their highlight event. So many activities are at your fingertips during the festival, ranging from live music to celebrating the local artist and craft makers. Daily Concerts
Come see talented local and national acts on the two stages during Neptune Festival! Each day, four unique talents will take the stage and perform unique sounds for free. The stages are placed on 24th and 31st Street, both on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. On Friday and Saturday nights, families can also enjoy movie nights on the 17th Street stage.
Art & Craft Show
Browse the multitude of vendors displaying their unique art and take some home with you. The Neptune Festival Art & Craft Show is a terrific way to get to know the local and unique artists of the year while admiring their work. Over 250 artists will be vending, all with works such as paintings, sculptures, photography, and glasswork.
Grand Parade
Gather with the Virginia Beach community at Atlantic Avenue and enjoy Neptune’s Grand Parade. Color floats line the street along with large balloons and an exciting marching band. This parade is the conclusion to the weekend-long festival and can’t be missed. Don’t forget to keep an out for King Neptune and his court during the parade!
Sand Sculpting Championship
Take in the sights of the unique art of sand sculpting during Neptune Festival! The sand sculpting championship draws visitors from around the world to admire the beautiful and intricate sculptures. 22 sculptures will be on display in a huge tent right on the ocean front of Virginia Beach.
Neptune’s 8K Race
This 8K race is perfect for all wanting to lace up their running shoes in a fun way. The course is all along the beach, giving you beautiful ocean views while you take on the five miles.
