The Old Beach Farmers Market is a fresh outdoor marketplace that features seasonal produce, meats, seafood, cheeses, and baked goods. This open-air market is a favorite weekend activity and a great way to shop and support local farmers. Visitors can now drive in and get what they need. Vendors are now accepting orders online. It is strongly encouraged to only come if you have pre-ordered your items online.
The market is open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is located just six blocks from the beach and a 10-minute walk from Sundial Inn.
Virginia Beach Farmers Market
The long-standing, year-round Virginia Beach Farmers Market is a favorite amongst locals and visitors alike. The market features a butcher shop, seafood market, ice cream, candy store, bakery, florists, and more. The market hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year.
Check out their Virtual Farm to Table event, every Friday at 2:00 p.m. to learn how food is produced on Virginia Beach farms and how to use those foods for meals at home. They feature a new food every week. Examples include strawberries, honey, and shiitake mushrooms.
